The Start of Doppbarts
We met while working at Hilltop in Stevens Point Wisoconsin. Justin was a line cooke, while I was a server. The first conversation we had was about strippers. Yup!
Then I asked a co-worker to get his number from the employee sheet. Where I then texted him while I was a little tipsy.
We dated for a few months – until we decided to go steady.
Alaska Started it All
I have been photographing everything I could since my Mom bought e my 1st Film Camera when I was a kid.
In 2018, I went to Alaska to work in the middle of nowhere along the Dalton Highway. While there, my high school best friend asked me to photograph his wedding.
Because I valued our friendship, I said no.
Natural Intuition Photo was Created
With the push from my sister & Justin I started Natural Intuition Photography. At first I thought it was just going to be me selling my nature prints. But, after a Summer long internship with a Wedding Photographer outside La Crosse, I choose more.
We Moved to Madison
I was down to just a few days working my part time bartending job, so after a mini freak out. We decided to move to Madison. Found a cheap apartment in the West Side of Madison that barely fit all our stuff. My office was in the living room & we swear it was haunted.
After 8 years & 3 moves, we bought a house in Lake Mills WI. It’s outside Madison, but perfectly placed between Madison & Milwaukee. It’s a slower lifestyle in this small town, and we are happy to call it home.
Where I’m going
I am going places and challenging myself. I cannot wait to see where this blog takes me! I love a good challenge!
