Most wrapping paper isn’t recyclable, and gatherings also create tons of waste! But, there are ways to create less waste this holiday season, and wrap eco-friendly gift wrapping can happen!
Ditch Non Recylable Wrapping!
I know I know those aisles of wrapping paper are filled with cute and beautiful paper, but most cannot be recycled! There are adorable Eco-Friendly Gift Wrapping Ideas!
- Head to your local second-hand shop and stock up and BEAUTIFUL fabrics to wrap your gifts in!
- Wrap the gift in the gift! Gift a beautiful scarf, kitchen towl, sweater, etc.

2. Paper Bags / Craft Paper
Don’t know what to do with all those paper bags from shopping? Cut them up and wrap your gifts in them! Some bags have some pretty fun designs! If they don’t make your own! Use some stamps, paint, or have fun writing their name on it!

If you are anything like me, you like picking up maps at waysides along with your road trips! These are PERFECT to wrap your gifts in!
Even if you don’t get the paper, you can find FREE papers all over the place! Save them from getting thrown away and wrap your gifts in them! Or save the coupon paper you get in your mailbox that you throw right into the bin!
