The Best Safety Razor our there! Why do I love it!?
I have been wanting to switch out my plastic razor for something more eco-friendly for a LONG TIME! The traditional safety razors scared the hell out of me.
I was so excited to find a safety razor that was THE BEST replacement for the traditional disposable razor!
Let me introduce you to the Leaf Safety Razor! And what I LOVE about it!
- The head of the razor ROTATES! Makes it so much like the traditional disposable razor!
- Love that you can pick a color other than silver! Black was my choice, duh!
- But it also comes in:
- Mercury (like dark chrome)
- Silver of course
- Chrome
- Gold
- other colors coming soon 🙂
- But it also comes in:
- You can choose how many blades you want in, 1-3. They say to try it with 1 first & work your way up. I started with 3 and still use 3. LOVE!
- It saves me money – as the blades last MONTHS instead of weeks
- Leaf costs – $80-110 upfront, where you blades will last you for YEARS!
- The average razor with cartridges costs – $120-144 a year!
- I rarely get razor burn anymore!
- Don’t have to shave as much – my leg hairs have gotten softer!
- They send you tips right away, with videos!
- You can save your blades in a rad tin, (yes you should get the tin!) when it’s full you can mail it back for proper disposal!
- It’s more eco-friendly than the traditional disposable ones!
- According to the EPA, nearly 2 billion disposable razors end up in landfills every year!
- The handles will last in the landfill for a lifetime.
So with a new safety razor that will last you a lifetime and blades that will last you YEARS – you’re saving money and helping the environment with ONE purchase!

Some things to know:
- There is a slight learning curve! Knees are hard! I knicked myself the 1st few times. But, once I got the hang of it, it was easier!
- Just go slow the 1st time & you’ll be fine 🙂
- Using the right shaving cream makes a difference!
- This is what I use: Cremo
- It is expensive to start, but it will SAVE you soo much in the long run!
- I have not taken this camping or on a trip yet – that I am still using a disposable. As there is NO shaving cream needed. But working on changing that.
I have been using it for a few months now & I will NEVER go back to the traditional disposable again!
